Services & Well-Being
-
Even in the colder months, regular grooming is essential for your dog’s comfort and health. Many people think they can skip grooms in winter, but in reality:
Coats grow continuously, and without regular brushing and trimming, they’re more prone to matting, which can trap moisture and cause skin irritation.
Winter weather often means mud, snow, and salt, which can tangle fur and irritate paw pads if not cleaned and maintained.
A well-maintained coat actually keeps your dog warmer, because mats and tangles prevent the fur from insulating properly.
We typically recommend every 4 weeks if your dog has a longer style you’re maintaining. Regular grooming through winter keeps coats healthy, prevents discomfort, and makes certain that we can keep their fur long until Spring or Summer.
-
Matting is most common in dogs with longer coats or curly fur. The best prevention is a regular grooming schedule:
Every 4 weeks if you’re growing their coat out or maintaining a longer style
Every 6–8 weeks for most dogs
Longer fur requires more frequent care to prevent tangles from becoming painful mats. Regular brushing at home helps, but most pet parents cannot ensure that their dog’s fur is maintained from nose to tail. The best way to keep your pup comfortable is through consistent professional grooming.
Our easy booking system makes it simple to stay on schedule — you can even reserve with your favorite groomer to keep the routine stress-free and consistent.
-
Shedding dogs have two coats — a top coat and an undercoat — which naturally regulate their body temperature.
Contrary to popular belief, double-coated dogs should not be shaved, as it disrupts this protective layer. Instead, regular deshedding keeps them healthy, cool, and conditioned year-round. -
Deshedding is essential for double-coated breeds. It’s a 3-step process that removes up to 90% of loose undercoat, keeping your dog cool, comfortable, and your home cleaner.
Each deshed includes:
2 shampoo cycles + conditioner
Wet brush-out
Towel and blow dry
Additional dry brush to lift remaining loose fur
Sanitary trim, outline trim (if needed), paw pad trim
Finished with a cool mist spray that helps repel dust and keep the coat fresh
We recommend deshedding every 6, 8, or 12 weeks, depending on coat type and activity level.
-
We recommend starting as soon as possible after their first set of puppy shots. Early, positive grooming experiences help puppies grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs who enjoy being groomed.
-
Every bath includes:
1–2 shampoo cycles
1 conditioning cycle
Towel dry followed by a gentle blow dry
Face trim
Nail trimming
Paw & pad trimming
This service leaves your dog clean, tidy, and refreshed — without any surprise add-ons.
-
Each haircut includes:
1–2 shampoo cycles & conditioning
Towel dry to reduce blow-dry time
Full blow dry
Sanitary trim, paw pad trim & nail trim

Matting can cause skin irritation and discomfort, so it’s important to remove it gently and thoroughly.
We’ll first try to detangle at the site, preserving length where possible.
If that causes discomfort, we may trim the mats out individually.
In cases of severe matting, we may need to go shorter than planned. If this happens, we’ll call you first to discuss options before proceeding.
Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first.
-
Yes, please do! Photos are incredibly helpful. We’ll review the length, face, tail, and overall look with you before starting.
If your dog’s coat isn’t long enough to match a reference exactly, we’ll adjust to achieve the closest, most flattering version of your desired style. -
We do express glands in all dogs that are under 30 lbs. Most medium-to-large dogs express naturally.
*Some vets prefer this be done medically. Please let us know if you do not want your dog’s glands express and we will mark it in their profile. -
Yes. We have extensive experience working with anxious pups, and we always meet each dog where they are. Our groomers take their time, using gentle handling, soft voices, and plenty of praise to help your dog feel safe and understood.
Anxiety exists on a spectrum, and every dog is different. We’ll carefully read your dog’s cues, give them breaks if needed, and communicate with you throughout the process. If your dog has special needs, just let us know in advance so we can give them the extra attention they deserve.
-
We do work with dogs who have behavioral challenges, and we approach them with patience, clear communication, and respect for their boundaries. For everyone’s safety, muzzles may be required, and we always use them in the most calm, gentle way possible.
That said, aggression also exists on a spectrum. Some dogs may need a slower introduction, while others may benefit from a conversation with your veterinarian — in some cases, medication can help highly anxious or reactive dogs have a safer, more positive experience.
We will always do our best to work with your dog, and we’ll be honest with you about what we observe. However, for safety reasons, we reserve the right to refuse service if a dog’s behavior poses a risk to themselves or our staff. Your dog’s well-being and our team’s safety are always top priorities.
-
Yes. Senior dogs receive special care and gentle handling. We often recommend early morning appointments for our older dogs, as well as shorter haircuts to minimize grooming time and keep them comfortable between visits.
Booking & Staying on Schedule
-
We offer grooming Monday through Saturday, with appointments typically starting at 8:00 AM. Our last appointments are scheduled between 2:00–3:00 PM, depending on the service.
If you have special scheduling needs, just let us know — we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
-
It’s easy — just let our receptionist know your preferred day, time, and frequency, and we’ll reserve your spot on a standing schedule with your favorite groomer.
This ensures your dog stays comfortable and gives you peace of mind knowing their appointments are always taken care of.
-
If you can’t pick up your dog within 30 minutes, just let us know. We’ll make sure they’re comfortable in a clean kennel with fresh water (and a treat, if allowed) until you arrive.
-
You’re always welcome to have someone else bring your dog to their appointment or pick them up afterward.
If someone else is dropping off, please make sure they know exactly how you’d like your dog styled. Even if you’ve been with us before, we always confirm details to ensure your preferences haven’t changed. The person dropping off will need to sign our policies and disclosure waiver. In your absence, their signature acts as yours.
If someone else will be picking up, just let us know in advance. We can save an alternate phone number and will simply need the person’s name and their relationship to you. We’ll send them a ready text and make sure your pup is released safely to the right person.
-
We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a fee equal to the full service amount, as that time was reserved especially for your pup.
